The latest edition of Motorrad & Reisen magazine (115) has quite a nice suggestion for a circular route, which might be interesting to bolt onto a jaunt to the ever popular Black Forest.

It even suggests a ‘biker friendly’ hotel to stay in.

Download it from the magazine’s website, using the code.

Cheers......
My Eldest daughter has just bought a house in Nagold, which looks to be on this route. Cant wait to get down there Next month.

Some really nice roads south east from Stuttgart via Reutlingen, Bad Saulgau and Zweifalten down to Bodensee and the Alps through the major fruit growing areas.

Much better than the boring motorway route down from Ulm, we will be going down that way this year after a stop at Bad Durkheim and on the way back will be staying a night at Sigmaringendorf.

The E41 East of Karlsruhe to Leonberg especially around Pforzheim is an utter nightmare for hold ups , accidents and road works and best avoided

I have found an additional suggested route, based on the Karlsbad / Pforzheim axis.

This time it comes from the quarterly Motorrad Strassen publication (02/2022) obtainable via Readly.

Download it for free by putting the tour code 2202MS08 into Kurviger.

The same issue has a whole host of suggestions for the area, all downloadable for nothing:

Thanks for these Wapping just the job for a trip I'm looking at this year don't have much time to go too far south so stitching some of these together plus some Luxembourg posts I've seen great, thanks for taking the time to post!

It's handy that Motorradstrassen provide Kurviger codes so that their routes can be loaded direct into the app.

Indeed. It’s a very good service the magazine offers. Something that others could benefit from doing, too. Of course it doesn’t have to be Kurviger, as lots of other apps will perform the same function. Some of the sharing of routes, particularly from British publications, is pretty woeful in the 21st century. Even some of their maps of the route they have suggested are very poor. It seems crazy to be like this, when there is so much good mapping and very good GPX tools available.
