Greetings, HP2 fans. Recent owner of an HP2 Sport, 2008 model, after a long time dreaming about it.
Looking for anyone who might have, or know anyone who could, the original factory toolkit that came with it. It contains some lovely and fancy hooked tools to adjust the Ohlins suspension, and it would complete the bike.
Thanks!

Hi dasher, recently bought an HP2 2009 with 1800km on it, and it also came without the service kit. Not sure if this was supplied with a new bike or was an optional extra, if anyone would like to pipe in here. Would also like to get my hands on one to make this the complete unit.

Good luck.

For the record my HP2S (I'm the second owner) came without as well.

It might be worth speaking to BMW specialist parts suppliers/breakers too, such as Motorworks and Sherlocks, and maybe CMSNL? Some of those items show up as Obsolete.

You never know what they might have stashed away somewhere after breaking bikes, or they may know an avenue of supply not open to us mere mortals ?

Quite a few HP2S parts are unavailable.

This year my plan was to buy a pair of valve covers, since there are not many left, and I managed to damage both of mine over the years... last one with a dip in the gravel at Donington :D

When I bought my lovely HP2S in 2015 it came with the toolkit. I initially thought it is part of original package!
But after reading the previous posts, it seems I was just lucky that the previous owner bought it!

It is getting indeed more challenging to get spares for the HP2S! In particular the CF parts! Ebay ist still a good place for sourcing some fairing parts...

Have you considered to install the valve covers of the R9T instead? You can get them in black.
You only need to change the 'anti twist' rubber and install the little spring clip of the R9T. Otherwise a perfect fit!
Definitely a more cost effective repair should you have a small incident on track...
