Hi, low beam is permanently 'on' on the Xcountry.
Does anyone know which colour wire I can splice a switch in please? And where would you cut in?

Is it for a GPS or a running light?

I simply used the wire to the sidelight bulb and spliced in to that :thumb

Errr no, it is to put the low beam light on a switch.

Prob extended the low connector through a switch would save chopping the loom.

Wot, no please? Grrrrr!
But gladly!
For those wishing to know how:
Open headlight
make mini loom & connect up
run on/off switch to handlebars.
Tools, allen keys, soldering iron, male and female blades, wire, crimpers, shrinkwrap.
Fiddly ( to wiggle everything inthe headlight housing) but straight forward.
The above method saves you cutting into the loom and you can revert to the way it was in a couple of minutes by removing the 'mini loom' in the headlight.

There is no cutting of any of the OE wiring.

And you'll need a dremel with a grinding wheel and a switch!
