Looking for recommendations for a good campsite in the Peak District for the 18th/19th July. Nothing too commercial.

Will be traveling on lightweight trail bikes with camping gear so won't be taking the kitchen sink.
Pub and shops close by would be an advantage.
Hoping to do some trails whilst there.
Thanks in advance

Thought of that, lovely spot but no shops nearby

Can do without shop if beer and food good👍thanks all.

Stayed here a few years ago, nice site and a couple of pubs a short walk away. More details on their website.

Looks like you can’t have your vehicle by the tent ,the campsite at the Langdale pikes in the lakes is the same
so might have to leave the bikes in the carpark

The Miners Standard been there twice, once for a one night stop over on the national rally and then went back for the Airhead meet last year for 5 days very friendly very reasonably priced and lovely beer 20 yards from your tent and your bike no marked pitches pick you spot and pitch you tent

Thanks all, will see if I can book the miners standard👍

Community Shop down the hill in Winster Tim.
Oh yes, forgot about Winster as I usually ride past and rarely through it. Lovely little place isn't it. ....in fact, now you've reminded me, I may just have a little wobble out there this evening for a walkabout.
