In Safari (MAS OSX) how do I click and download a linked file?

In Explorer you click and hold and a menu apperas and choose save link to disk - there doesn't appear to be any such option in Safari (which otherwise is a cool browser).

In OSX pressing the Control key whilst clicking is the same as the right mouse button in windows ie it brings up context sensitive menus. So just control click the link and select - download link to disk.
