I made my drip tray about five years ago, and I've made at least ten more fore people since then, so if anyones interested, here goes.
The drip tray is long enough and wide enough to slide under the bike, push up against the centre stand, and catch all the oil from both cylinder heads at the same time. When I service my bike, I go for a ride to get it nice and warm, park it back in the garage, and let all the oil run out over night, after removing both rocker covers. Nice clean floor in the morning and no mopping up to do. The tray is also big enough to leave under the gearbox and bevel box at the same time, while they both drain.
The trays are made out of 16g/1.6mm ally, with the corners TIG welded. When I've made them for people before as a one off, I've asked £30 for them, which everyone was happy with. If there's enough interest (14+ trays) then I can do them for £25 each.
