Heading off to Slovenia in 5 weeks time also taking in a couple of days in the Dolomites on the way down.

Does anyone have any Garmin ride out routes for the Dolomites they would be willing to share?

thanks

Baz,

What is it you're after, routes people have ridden? Or just general routes to ride?

Baz. Not GPS routes but some very useful maps.

The Dolomites are covered.

The must do is the 4 pass circuit - Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi, Passo di Campolongo and Passo di Gardena. I stayed in Moena 10 years ago, fantastic roads. It's difficult to pick bad roads there!

Have fun

I agree with the other posters, any of them will do.

However, an excellent road...
Ampezzo, via Monte Pura to join the SP73 at Lago Di Sauris, then continue on the SP73, then SP33 to Vigo Di Cadore, before going to Cortina D'Ampezzo via the Strada Regionale Della Dolomiti. From there, follow that with a quick ride over Passo Giau. All of that should be on your Mapsource maps.

The best bit? Crudo di Sauris comes from here - quite the best cured ham I've come across..

Complete routes to be found here (http://www.bmw-mc-klubben.se/Users/00000014-0000-0000-0000-000000000007/att/alpbus_2005.gdb) and here (http://www.bmw-mc-klubben.se/Users/00000014-0000-0000-0000-000000000007/att/alpbus_2006.gdb). Includes waypoints to 100+ passes.

Routes named "ST" are suitable for Sport & Touring bikes. For the routes named "GS", and for the tracks, all-road bike is recommended.
