Quest (1) - Slow Recalc With CN Europe V9

Memory wise, the map tiles in CN V9 are definitely smaller than CN V8, which is good (but not as small as CS V6, as might be expected). However, after giving V9 its first test in France last weekend I'm concerned at the recalc times. I'm using it in a Quest (1) and route recalc's are now taking somewhere between 50 seconds and 1 minute+ (seems to hang at 85% for a while, regardless of route that's being calcuated).

Anyone else noticed this issue? I'm going to reload V8 and do some proper comparison testing but around Paris I had to stop to let the thing actually sort itself out, otherwise it just couldn't recalculate changes of route fast enough. Not what I was expecting when I bought the upgrade I have to say.

I haven't noticed any change in mine from CS7 to CN9.
Have you changed your routing settings? Specifically the Calculation Method, where you can select from:

Quick Calculation
Better route
Best route.
