SPIII Track Logging Frequency

Anybody found a way of changing the logging frequency of track recordings?

What determines the logging frequency - distance/time/altitude?

The track log fills up pretty fast and starts overwriting the earliest recorded tracks. The only solution I can see is to turn track logging off until I need it but that doesn't solve the problem on a long ride.

Alternatively, is it possible to store the track logs on the SPIII.

I've tried Garmin but their response is "we'll pass it to the developers"

Hi Keith, funny you asking that cos I wanted to alter mine.. Somewhere in the unit is a page that lets you alter something related to tracks. I will have a look later and see if I can find it. On the other hand I am probably totally mistaken and it relates to something else.
