Trouble with my e-mail account

I’m running XP Home
MS Internet Explorer version 6
MS Outlook Express 6

When try to get my e-mail headers Outlook Express loads 15 mail headers then gets stuck and times out on the 16th, then on every subsequent visit to download my e-mail I again get the same 15 headers downloaded into my mail box, before it again times out on the 16th, it appears as if it is stuck on one mail which it cannot/will not download.

I have reset the time out period to the highest in Outlook Express but this has not solved the problem.

I have not added any software nor changed any setting either in XP, anti-virus or firewall software.

Try this. If you go to http://www.mail2web.com and then click on 'Advanced Login' once on that page fillin the boxes:-

Server name or IP address:-
mail.btinternet.com

User ID or login name:-
your email address

Password:-
the password you use

And then click the 'Check Mail' button

My bet is you will find a ferkin big email in slot 16 which outlook is having problems down loading. You will be able to see it from mail2web, and, delete it if you want.
