Mapsource loading issues

Just got my new Zumo 550 this morning. I've been trying to load Mapsource v9 since 7:30...one and a half hours!!!
It's loaded OK but then when it get to the registration key bit it pops up a message theres been a problem and to re-install. I've now done this 3-4 times and tried the repair function, all to no avail.

Can anyone throw any light on the issue. Garmin are closed so can't ask them.
 
I had exactly the same problem, as have others, in the end good old Fanum helped me out. Wish I could remember what it was he told me to do and I'd willingly help you but I can't :eek: I'm sure someone will be along in a wee while to help you out.

Sorted!!

Deleted EVERY Garmin file on the computer, editied the registry of all Garmin and Mapsource entries etc.

Then it worked..

What a load of ARSE!!
