Respoking Wheel

Hi, just picked up an old Honda CB250 RSA which has extremely rusty spokes. Is there a problem with refitting them one at a time rather than sending it for a respoke. I want to keep this as cheap as possible.

Cheers, Paul

Going to see about getting a wheel re done in the morning very cheap apparently will let you know the cost :D

less than 50 quid with new stainless spokes i am told :thumb

I've used him for years. Spot on :thumb He's done a few BM wheels as well.

If you haven't been before it's quite an eye opener - straight back into the 1960s,
They have all the sales brochures from when they sold Triumphs in the 50s and 60s. Bob Warner died years ago. It's the young lad who runs in now :D

If you need a brilliant welder, theres a road facing warners shop, go down there and on the left there's some tacky little Units. Arthur Sosby is the man - rated for Nuclear welding. He's a Velocette man and loves working on bike stuff.

what does he charge Rob??

I had a pair of Triumph wheels rebuilt with stainless spokes and he supplied new deep flange ally wheel rims. it came to £210 for both wheels

I think the labour charge for fitting the new spokes was £15 a wheel.

lovely job. The deep flange rims look just like Borranis
