Might be good news for all you fashion victim red-rimmed specs Mac users......

:augie

I've just reloaded winders from scratch and have done Mapsource etc.....when I did the update thingy, it downloaded and installed version 4.10 OS on my quest, and as part of the text it said 'installing usb support for Macs'

Maybe your overpriced overtrendy fashion boxes have finally joined the 21st century and you may be able to use your Garmin GPS units with them???

Sorry, I know I'm taking the pish but it might be of use to you ;)

I have a feeling it's for the likes of "Parallels" or "Boot Camp" so that
Mapsource running on Windows running on the Mac will work.

There was talk a year and a half ago about supporting GPS software on
Macs, but it might be a long time away yet. EDIT : Or brassmonkey001 might know different.:augie

BTW, the Quest works fine with Parallels on the Mac.:thumb2

I fixed it myself, thanks. :D

"Intel-based Macs or PowerPCs (G3 or newer) running OS X 10.4 or later" Stright from the horses mouth (Garmin website).
Not much good to me though, I'm running OS 9.2.2
Fashion victim? Only if the fashion is from the last millenium!
