I'm off to Norway soon,Lofotens in particular as I had to miss them last year, and was wondering about the chances of finding wireless connections on the way - at garages maybe? It would be very useful for weather forecasts and emails.

Why do you need email on holiday? Just enjoy yourself and read 'em when you get back. It takes up space ( and weight) and its also a security risk that you'll be concerned about whnever you leave your bike.

FWIW - Stayed in 2 hotels there last month, one had wireless and the other had wireless and PCs in the lobby ( IBIS). I guess it depends on the standard of accom' youll be staying in .

I was in Norway last year on my bike. Most beautiful country I’ve ever ridden through :thumb (the pint is expensive though:( ).

Don’t waste your time on the interweb, just enjoy it.

Last year, I had my Laptop with me and got on the internet about half the places we stayed... Most cost a couple kroner for half an hour kind of thing..

The place is pretty Wifi aware...
