Problems updating Mapsource

... I often check for Mapsource updates via the HELP menu within the programme, but for the past week I've been geting the following message:

THERE WAS A PROBLEM CONNECTING WITH THE GARMIN UPDATE SERVER. PLEASE RETRY YOUR UPDATE. IF YOU CONTINUE TO EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS, PLEASE CONTACT GARMIN SUPPORT.

The GPS (2610) and Mapsource (v6, with previous updates) are working fine otherwise. I've emailed GARMIN, but am I missing something simple/obvious?

Personally I don't bother doing it through Mapsource, just go to the updates page and have a look here: http://www8.garmin.com/support/mappingsw.jsp

I'd ignore the web updater, and go straight to the update page on the site at http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209

The web updater doesn't usually pick up the latest update anyway.
