Hi folks anyone noticed the "new"speed cameras on the A48,driving up towards Gloucester from Lydney saw one at top of Wintles hill nr Westbury on Severn near the Rodley turning,pointing towards the forest,and one at the top of the hill up past the Severn Bore pub,pointing towards Gloucester.Look out for a post with a wind generator/solar panel,small camera below,with a sign with a camera on it.
I ride that road a lot and welcome them; two bikers and one car driver killed in the last couple of years or so. If only one of the selfish retarded feckwits who infest this stretch gets a ban it'll be money well spent.
I know the ones you mean, pass them every day. Far as I know, they are signs warning that there are speed cameras ahead and which light up when you are approaching over the 50 mph limit.
