Hi All,
This may have been asked before but i cant find it, so am asking again.

Dose anyone know of any software that will convert MS Autoroute (.axe) to mapsource?

Got V9 and the 2610 if that helps.

Thanks in advance

I think there is a site gpsbabel.com that handles a number of conversions.

Just found a utility on the web tonight that allows the conversion of Autoroute .axe files to be used with MapSource.

You can download it at the folowing link:-

Certainly looks like it does the job.

You open the autoroute .axe then export into the Mapsource .gdb file.

i tried it from axe to gdb, with a route.

it did work, it converted the waypoints and connected them with a straight line, when opened it in mapsource,

but it did recalculate the route when i pressed the recalcuate button.

i find lot easier to search for places and plan routes in autoroute,

so this prog is pretty useful for exporting all the waypoints :thumb2

Doesn't the free version only allow a maximum of 17 waypoints though?
