Took my GS in for its 600 mile service at Park West yesterday, pleased to report that all was good. I've read some bad stories about the place on these forums but have to say I was pleased with the service I got.
As well as the actual mechanical service being good (bike seems to run a whole lot better now and the rattles have diminished to a dull roar!!) I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful.
The only criticism I have is that they didn't call me to say the bike was ready - when I called to find out I was put on hold for 25 minutes then hung-up on, now I'm a pretty patient guy but that's pushing the limit! However when I called back and complained I got put through to a guy called (I think) Shannon who got me an answer straight away.
I was also given somewhere to change into civvies, coffee and a lift to and from the tube station. Compared to the over-priced, under-delivered service I've had from Jap dealers in the past this was a positive pleasure.
Now it's run in I'm looking forward to a bit of fun!!!
