Hi all,
I have today seen the light and bought an 02 1150GS Adventure.

My previous bike was a V-Strom which was great but i have always longed for a GS.

Hope to chat to you guys more over the coming months. :bounce1

I lived in Weymouth for a few years, some great GS roads there.:D

Oh, and when it snows like hell and Weymouth is cut off:( because of the surrounding snow bound hills), you'll still be ale to have fun:D:thumb

Ocean. If it is you would be getting the most loved and cosseted GS.
Always cleaned back to showroom cond. and never been off road.:thumb2

GOD you had me worried then!!!

I'm not sure who had it before me?

It's an 02, Silver with 14,500 ish miles on it and it has a Remus on it as well. The person who had it before me took it to Norway for a spin, it's nigh on showroom condition.

I'm picking it up this afternoon and i'm really looking forward to the 2hr ride home
even if it rains!!!!

Thats the one, we went to Norway together. You have no worries there.
I would have had no hesitation in buying it from Nigel if it was what I wanted.
He was going to keep it forever until the sneaky sods lent him a 12 gsa while it was in for service.
As we are only down the road we will have to meet up sometime:thumb2
Have a good ride home today.

Well i've now got my 1150 home, we are both very wet.

The ride home was great, the bike just purrs along with power when you need it.
I can see some great days out coming in the near future.

Well pleased i should have got one years ago:thumb2

Hi, that was my old bike, and a fine bike at that. I never had any problems with it and I hope it is as reliable for you. I am sure you'll love it. I traded it for a 1200gsa just to upset my mate, oh, and because of the exceptional ride. If you want to know anything about it I'll be happy to answer any questions as best I can. Would be nice to meet up some time if you fancy it.
