Here's an interesting device for those that just want to record where you've been. Called TrackStick, it's a USB Key with integrated GPS.

It'll record, depending on model on 1 to 4 Mb of memory, and run between 1 week and 1 month on 2 AAA batteries.

Once home, plug it into your computer's USB port, and show your track on Google Earth or similar program.

Nifty and not too expensive. Remember Christmas is around the corner....

Nifty but a bit on the expensive side (£200+ for the 1MB version?). I found this http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=9863 on the web which is only £90 and has a 1GB memory card. It is a bit bigger but I presume it does a similar thing.

Yeah, there are a couple of them, but this is really small. Mind boggles at the usage.... like the law enforcement. Use the magnetic holder, clip it to a car, and find out where it went...:ymca

It's incredible how small these things are getting..
