We have so much winter salt here in Scotland that all the alloy on my airheads is dull grey and pitted. I have tried everything short of bead-blasting to clean them up.
I have a grit blaster, but I don't think that would be appropriate
Thats a completely different engine to yours. 40mm carbs, high comp piston, high lift cam etc. That's also a BMW claimed figure at the crank so the reality will be around 50 ish.
