Can anyone help recognise the format of this coordinate and know how to convert this type to degrees minutes seconds?

And is there a software package around to do this the easy way!!? :nenau

I believe this POI might be taken by a magellan gps :nenau

type it into google earth see what you get

:blast yes did that and got the message "your search returned no results"
Searching just Google did not find anything either hence my original request from help for someone with a solution as I have heaps to convert.

Stick this into mapsource>view>go to position and it brings you just outside Stuttgart. :thumb

Thats a WGS 84 format from mapsource haven't a notion how you'd convert a batch though?

wondering if it really as simple as moving the decimal points.... :nenau
Guess I'll switch to 'manual' then :D

Once you've entered your waypoints into Mapsource, it only takes a mouse click to convert it to another format. :thumb2

Please read my first post!!

Arrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :blast:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast

I am trying to AVOID to type each waypoint manually into Map Source
The original coordinates were taken on a magellan device which is a PITA:blast
I was hoping to find a shortcut to the laborious View/Got To Position/Create waypoint :(

hey ho
switching back to manual -

How many POIs do you have to convert?

Surely, you're going to have to enter each waypoint somewhere anyway - so it may as well be Mapsource. :nenau

GPSbabel and POIedit are both tools that will convert gps file types for you.
POIedit seems to be simple to use, so i've never had to get to grips with GPSbabel.
