Iceland trip advice please

I'm going to be 40 in the summer of 2009, and I'd like to go to Iceland. Trouble is, I can't take the bike because Shaz, the kids, my parents and various others want to come as well! So monster trucks instead it will have to be...

So, can anyone recommend a tour company that can either do a complete package or guides in Iceland that I can contact directly. I'd like to spend plenty of time in the interior - big landscapes are my thing - and I'd like to stay for 10 days/2 weeks or so.

4x4 Hire in Iceland!

I went minus the bike last November and hired a wee Yaris at about £50 per day! The Landrover I wanted was about £250 per day.........!!That's why I picked the Yaris, it was bloody good offroad with the mud and snow studded tyres....! Most hire 4x4s seem to be Suzuki Jimmys, Toyota Rav 4s and Landcriusers(Hertz at Kéflavik airport).

There is a specialist Landrover hire company aswell but there seemed to be quite a few restrictions for 'offroad use'!

Hope this is of some use, i'm planning my fourth trip to iceland at the moment and can't decide wether to take the Landrover or the HP2 or both!!
