Zumo Wiring 1150

There is a spare power outlet plug of the type that fits onto the back of the BMW accessory socket. This plug, along with the accesssory socket already on the beak has a 15amp fuse. Can I connect my new Zumo directly to this or should I add the 2amp inline fuse in the circuit? Or could I downrate the 15amp fuse for the accessory sockets in the main fuse box.

Are there any quick release connectors that anyone would recommend so that I can quickly remove the cradle and cable. Does BMW do the female part to the existing plug?
