Givi box on an HP2?

Never mind yer flash aloominum boxes, I'd like to be able to clip my Givi Maxia top box onto my HP2.
Has anyone attempted to fix a Givi rack directly to the rather flimsy standard rack-ette on the back of the HP2?
They're just so damned handy for doing the shopping....

PS Yes of course, all that shopping on the table fitted into the top box.
Alternatively, it will hold a pair of Schubert C2 (or BMW) full face helmets.
