DRZ400 fork seals.. easy to replace?

Well i think i might have had my first ever fork seal go on me..

The rubber fork gator has some oil staining showing up on the dust at the bottom of it, and looking fresh. Been standing since Timolgra's Pre-Cambrian Big bike run.

I have rudimentary tools and a cd copy of the mannual.. is it likley a repair i can do myself? Anyone done it before, any tricky things to note? Its an 02 SK2 model..

Easy to do yourself but don't ask Forry for advise, he fitted them upside down on his GS

How many miles have you done? The gaitors are there to stop this happening - have you removed them?
