I currently have a Quest with v6 mapping which needs updating

A- V9m mapping cost about £150

B- Zumo550 for about £350

C- Is mapsource metro guide europe 9 any good as an update

Is it worth updating the Quest or am I better of with the new unit( Quest is 2years old)

My v9 update wasn't that expensive  Thought it was nearer to £50, you seem to have the buy it on its own cost.

Metroguide won't support autorouting on the GPS AFAIK, unless you "meddle" with it ;)

Lots of reported problems with the Quest 2.

Why not see how much the CN EU v10 will be this winter?

Hi floyd, you need to look at upgrading your mapping which costs around $75 (not sure what that is in Scottish sheckels). The price you're quoting would be to buy the mapping 'new'.

Try creating an account on MyGarmin, on the www.Gamrin.com webpage.
If you enter your serial numbers etc., it should give you the option to upgrade.

Thanks for the replies

created an account in my garmin and it says there are no updates available Have sent them a email,

Cheers
