Not this time, but I have a definate plan to go to the 2009 Dakar (to watch)and the Heroes Rally (maybe to enter).

indeed. it is a cheap to get to malaga and back from ireland as it is to get to newcastle and back .going direct this time. adventure dropping bike to larne, (N.Ireland) today, bigger adventure getting home, tkc's fitted(very strange on wet road), bike in safe hands .truck leaving tomorrow for scotland and other points uk. this night next week i will be having a glass of ribero del duera in spain God willing. Happy new year from the wet,wild and windy west of ireland.
If anyone fancies recording the Dakar rally for me I'd be very grateful.
