Anybody got any recommended camp sites in Devon, preferably North coast area.

Planning on doing a long weekend in the summer say Thusday Exmoor, Friday Lands end and Saturday possibly Princetown.

Lovely site that I intend to spend a few days at this year

Malmsmead, near Oare and Brendon and below County Gate which lies on the Somerset/Devon boarder half way between Porlock and Lynmouth on the A39. Its a truely stunning location and reasonable facilities. The Stag Hunters in Brendon is a twenty minute walk away. I love the area and lived right next to the campsite for 10 years.

Thanks again chaps, I'll be picking a long weekend to fit around my work.

Can't really plan anything ahead this year as I'm due to start commuting to Madrid every week or so.

Mike, I'll post up when I'm going but it might be short notice.

Yip! I think Treen fits the bill, especially now I've bought an Exped and a proper sleeping bag.

I froze my knuts off last year.
