450 Info

In case you didn't know...
I was chatting to the guys at the BM stand at the Scottish bike show about the 450 - not now expected in the dealers until August. I asked about warranty and he said they will all have a 2 year warranty even if you unplug the widget which boosts power to 50hp. However the service intervals will be reduced.

Price was quoted as £5299 which is a fair bit cheaper than a KTM 450 with 3 months warranty and no road homologation.

Still alot of cash for someting your gonna chuck in a muddy ditch but I'm well tempted stil.....

I was told two years warranty as long as it's not used off road from the nice MBW man at the Dirt Bike Show - he did say, however, that most WBM dealers would honour it unless it was something very obviously sustained from 'hard' off road use - does leave the warranty a bit vague and open to interpretation though.
