New BMW dealer in Calais

For those of you making the jump to Europe, there's a new BMW motorcycel dealer who has just opened up his doors in Calais, so quite handy ... (they're located next to the Auchan supermarket)

If it is as good as the Europ Touring "mother ship" dealership in Arras, then it will be well worth the crossing to keep your BMW service/warranty book checked and up to date! I alternate my services between Europ Touring and Steptoe!

I've not used the new branch as yet, but the 80000kms service that was estimated at £555 at UK dealers in Tunbridge Wells and Braintree was €444 - the equiv of £315 at Arras.

Sadly the supposed economic miracle that was brought to us by Gordon Brown and his Darling has seen the pound drop from 1.41 euros to 1.27 euros since I did that calc so now it's more like £350....
