roxio easy cd creator

i've been using it for a while - but it wont go and get the cd info from CDDB - says theres an error.

So - looking in the preferences i have to specify a proxy server - even though i dont 'think' i'm using one - but i have got broadband going through a netgear 4 port switch - cabled not wireless.

what address and port do i use or how do i find it ?

Works OK for me without specifying a Proxy. I'm also on cable broadband, Actiontec 4-port router.

Only works for commercially produced CD's though (or those duplicated from the same).

I had a similar problem before finding out that I had to register a CDDB username & password. Once I did this, it logged in & that was it - all OK.
