I am unable to get my daughters computer to log on to Windows. It starts up and when you enter the user password it gives the following error.

Error code 0x80070c1.
It was operating very slow prior to this and I was wondering if it may have "caught something" from extensive association with Kazaa?
Any ideas as to how I can resolve this.
