i've had my 1150 gsa since may and i really do enjoy every day on it,
until sunday that is,
i was on my way to silverstone when i had left the toddington services ,got up to sixth gear then all hell broke loose,i pulled over and was confronted with smoke billowing out between me legs ,i think the clutch has died a smoky(& smelly) death .
has anybody got any ideas how to resolve this on a limited budget.i am desparate to get back out there and enjoy the rest of the summer .

Hi Kieth & welcome to the site, sorry to hear about your mechanical mishap but you`ve come to the right place for help.
I`m sure it won`t be long before your back out there enjoying your GSA :thumb

If you are mechanically brave then be prepared for a bloody long weekend in the garage:rob

At least yours has gone in summer, froze to death for about 10 hours doing my 1100 a few years back, oh how i laughed:spitfire

About £150 last time i looked for clutch plates etc, Sherlocks will have them to you next day. Just take your time, get help if you can when removing the heavy items, read the haynes manual several times first, and do take care to center the clutch correctly:thumb

Have fun:eek:onyack
