Help battery problem I think

Hello everyone ! I have just bought a F650 GS 05 plate What I can make out it has been bought at auction as finance pull back . I think it has been stood a while and it has been jump started , the bike runs fine but wont hold its charge and when the key is out the clock and milage flickers and ticks .
Has anybody got any idea whats going on on ? Cheers Mel

I know when I washed my bike the clock and odometer went a little crazy. I'd guess the battery is goosed
