Two questions
1. Ohlins or Hagons, cost and performance?
2. Where's best to get this job done? My location roughly is Oxon - Berks

thanks

I got an Ohlins for my 1150 from Motorworks and fitted it myself. The cost was £342. The basic Hagon shock is about £230 but it doesn't have the remote preload adjustment of the standard shock. Hagon can add this, but it puts the price up to mid £350's or thereabouts.

Why not have a go at fitting the shock yourself? It involves removing the seat, rear wheel, and also the seat mounting points. It took me an hour from start to finish.
