In the Ibmwr manual site it mentions the Mityvac brake bleeding kit Has anybody used this kit and if they have was it any good?.

Yes, it is quite good, although you still need the patience of a saint to bleed the ABS system.

Cheapest place currently is MPS ( I think) www.thefastone.co.uk

Still need to let it settle overnight, though.

And don't forget to wash the pump out after use, to remove any brake fluid that may have got in! DAMHIK. Water with a bit of washing up liquid works fine for this, BTW.

Pete, thanks for the reply and the link to the cheapest price.
Whilst it is easy to change the fluid without having to bleed air I would hate to have to take it to the dealer (as suggested in the Clymer manual) if I messed up and the system needed bleeding.

I've Got one! It's a great bit of kit and comes in handy for more than bleeding brakes. Buy a tee piece and shock yourself by seeing how far out of calibration your new heine gerricke vacuum gauges are.
