Wireless network nightmare !

Ok, I give up. Can anyone recommend an IT bod who could set up a home wireless network ? (BT Broadband/Linksys USB kit) I'm not particularly IT literate and these little bastids have got me beat ! and the American helpline is shite.
I'm quite prepared to pay for the service just to get the kids/wife of my back. Must be willing to travel to NE London.

What OS are you using ???

An awful lot of problems like this seem to have been caused by win 95, 98 (in particular) and mixing OS's.......with XP on all machines it seems to go ok usually.......

is it the "upnp.dll and hnetwiz.dll missing" error?

See, you've all started talking gibberish ! The main PC is on '98(V2) as is the laptop, the other PC's are on XP, if that helps.

if you could type the following at the command prompt
(type CMD @ the run command to get a command prompt)
of each box

cd\

ipconfig/all

and copy what is says by long hand or by holding down alt button and pressing print screen and the paste in to an email

that way I can see how each machines network is set up.
