Phillippines tour ?

anyone done the HC travel Philippines tour ?

A mate wants me go on it with him next year.

looks good but not somewhere that was on my 'wish list'

I've been to the Philippines many times, lovely country nice people. Mindoro is a nice island and the scuba diving at Puerto Galera is excellent. As for bikes I always rent myself and ride where I like. But I am fairly independent.

Don't expect excellent food as it is not like any other SEA country (catholics and america had a fair crack at the place)

When you get to St Jose ask about Pandan Island...

Go for it...

extremely expensive. for that ampunt of money (1400 quid without flights) you can buy the bike and still have enough money left to enjoy yourself.

it's a beautiful country for riding although the traffic rules are a bit different...
