at my age I dont even know if I am going to wake up tomorrow let alone 7 months time.

I am home from offshore on this weekend so put me down as a 99% certain (I may be away in Croati but that isn't firmed up yet).

Ullapool is a fantastic place with the best roads, scenery in the UK and some cracking pubs at night... Not sure hwere you would use as a base though:confused: Also there may be posibilities of a ferry across to the Islands although it may take too long.

I would like to come especially as I shall be in Scotland around June/July.

I am doing some research on a new theory that Rudolf Hess was not trying to meet the 13th Duke of Hamilton but Christopher Grieve (aka Hugh MacDiamid)
who they had confused with john MacCormick

Some documents have been found suggesting that Hitler was going to offer Scotland an 'Vichy' style independence with its own 'milice' type militia called the Alba.

Caerlaverock castle was going to be rebuilt as the new HQ with the top floor reserved as a personal suite for the 'fuhrer'

I hope to visit Dungavel house to interview current residents and also the museum of flight to look at the engine from the Hess ME110

Think I'll just plan to pay a day visit, on account of me being a lightweight.

Be inaresting to ride the roads up that way with some different tossers for a change :D

I'll keep an eye on your ride schedule and try and slot in on one . . . . . . if that's allowed?
