Just had heated grips fitted and got a Renazco seat due in March.

JUST ABOUT TO TAKE DELIVERY OF A NEW 1200GSA :clap IF IT'S ANYTHING LIKE AS GOOD AS MY PREVIOUS ONE IT WOULD SEEM TO BE THE OBVIOUS CHOICE!

Chaps

It will have to be the 1200GS. If I had a photo of her I'd post it up for all to see.

Not sure whether to take the azure blue 1200 GS or this.... with all the GS's going it may be useful :augie:comfort

Finally got the camera out and after ages of trying to resize on the mac I think I have managed it. Here's my ride...

That would look great with some panniers - just my opinion and your welcome to it :rob ;) :augie

What about luggage? Hard or soft panniers?

I'm still thinking of taking the Megamoto even though I know the GSA will be far more practical :nenau

Luggage will be Kaoka bag and 30l dry bag like here :

Just waiting to take delivery of one of these...

and will use KTM soft luggage, tank bag (for camera gear), and a 37l top box. Might drop the topbox in favour of an Ortlieb rackpack bag thing. Won't know til I work out what to pack!

Can't wait...had a little wee then, with excitement!

Not sure if the right place, but..

...anyone taking Autocom (or similar) with PMR radios??

a) I can, and will, if I'm not going to talk to myself!
b) I'll have a spare Motorola radio if anyone needed to borrow it

Hey JB.

I'm not yet confirmed on the trip but am likely to join in the fun and wouldn't have even thought about taking the radio unless you'd mentioned it. I'd best take the Starcom and Motorola Funky along then.

You needed to up your shutter speed!

That is pure bike porn. Love it :thumb2

Yes - shame to sully it with panniers and stuff.

My brother introduced me to Mistress KTM - trying to get him to come along, but not sure if he'll wangle the time off etc.

That could be 3 KaTooMs let loose in the Alps...

Can't bloody wait.

Are we there, yet?

This is how I feel about the Megamoto. I'm just trying to work out if 2 pairs of Y-Fronts and a spare T-shirt is enough clothing for a week :D

I'm looking at the Kriega US-20 with 1 or 2 US-10 add ons. That'll give me 30-40 litres of capacity plus tank bag.

Not yet, but time will fly :beerjug:
