hiya, noticed yesterday when pushing the gs into the garage it seemed hard to push,i,ve just raised it on entre stand and the wheels tight to turn.what do ya reckon brake?wheel bearing any ideas.also i take it theres a knack to raising the bike on centre stand on your own and lowering it or is it me just pussying around

Sticky back wheel

Check the back brake ait siezed up, it will be difficalt / impossible to put it on the stand if it'ds in gear or in this case brake stuck on.

And not exactly a pleasant experience getting it off the main stand either.... be careful!!!

BMW 's tend to be easy to put on the centre stand but there is a knack.
To check if its the brake sticking just remove the caliper 2 bolts and see if the wheel spins free.

Too tight to turn?
Very unlikely to be bearings....does sound like brakes/warped disc jamming

Brakes

Only need to remove the caliper two bolts only peice of cake, do check the inner pad as this does wear at a high rate much quicker than the outer, easy to check could save you a new disc!.
