G450X - Rust!

I notice the welds on my frame show what looks like rust, it is a stainless frame but some stainless does rust and my guess is the weld material has something in it as it is only the welds.

Anyone else spotted this yet?

I have had slight discolouration on the welds but went the bike has been cleaned and given a wd40 shower this has gone so no worry at present.
My worry though is that the left hand crankcase cover, painted gold, is corroding from the join with the crankcase for nearly all the join around the engine. This will be getting mentioned next week to my dealer as this is p!ss poor. As I mentioned, the bike is cleaned a sprayed after every ride.
Oh, and the starter motor is rusty also.......

You wouldn't have used them off road by any chance?

Perhaps wait until 65ish hours if it is to be changed? :augie

I remember the first line of the GSA back in good old 2006.
The stainless/Rust free engine guard.... rusted :blast
