engine serial number

silly question but where is the serial number on the engine of the 800GS ???

In your log book.

customs officials want to see and check the numbers ON the engine.

for those who are wondering where it is, and are crossing borders and need to know where it is, on the right hand side, in front of the brake lever, behind the exhaust pipe, right in between the 2 hollow holes where people screw the crashbars. As it is black on black you need a flashlight in order to see it.

If by chance anybody knows how to change the disply from miles to km, I know I saw a post sometime ago about that here but can't find it, thanks for posting it.
