I picked this up this afternoon, from near Basingstoke.
Got it from a friend of a friend.
Took it straight out and managed to get it a bit dirty on the five ways.
No photos as the camera battery had failed. doh
Just had its MOT with a few things done. New front disk and rear wheel bearing. Years Tax, etc A new seat c over and the rear mudguard bag to come from previous owner.
Very pleased

Undo the throttle cables from the handlebar end, remove handguard first. Remove throttle tube from handlebar, clean, lube with WD40 or very light oil & the reassemble. Lube the cable(s) before refitting them. Check that the grip is not rubbing on thethrottle pulley housing or on the handguard, both will slow the throttle return down.

Let me know if help's required. :thumb2

I took the cables off second day and tried getting some wd40 down the cables will now try and clean the tube. At the weekend that is.

steel spacers

ordereds the bits to replace the spacers on wheels and behind sprocket.

Might as well do all three even though I think the wheels have been done.

I have seen somewhere on how to do the spacer and loctite it but cannot remember where, any ideas??
