Garmin lifetime map updates compatiblity

I thought I would post this as my Nav 3 wasn't on the list of compatible units to get the lifetime updates. So direct from garmin via facebook:-

The following link will take you to compatibility checker, so just connect your BMW Motorrad navigator 3 to your pc via usb lead, then click find map updates this will take you to your map update options . Then just select lifetime map updates then add to cart

No Australia maps, I notice. Tight bastards.....

Glad I saw your post on 'lifetime updates' my Zumo is 2 years old soon and I was thinking of updating my maps as I didn't do them last year. Still a bit steep and incredibly slow to down load, but I decided much better value for money, they should have offered this sooner

Just hope they don't say in 3 years the Zumo is out of date and stop the updates
