Any advise welcome, Im a complete noob when it comes to sat nav's.

I'm now after one for the bike. I want something reliable and robust, easy to

use and easy to understand. :augie

I intend to use it in Spain later this year.

I do have a basic Tom Tom 1 for the car, so with that in mind I was thinking

of a Tom Tom rider Two with the European maps pre-installed.

Is this a wise buy or would my money be better spent elsewhere?

Any thoughts etc etc.............................

Thanks.

Just like a 'which bike' question, you'll get conflicting advice.

Most users go for Garmin. Many have tried TTRs, and been pleased they have switched to Garmins, though others are happy with the TTRs.

I would suggest you go for the Zumo 550, or wait a couple of months and go for the new Zumo 660. The Nuvi 550 is also suitable for bikes, but only if you already have Mapsource - which you don't.

The Zumo 660 will be more like your TomTom - easy to use, & newby friendly. I would be tempted to wait for that.
