Having just bought a DR z 400, I am trying to source some road friendly knobblies, I am not planning to ride the bike daily as a commute but sometimes I will have do a bit of road before getting to lanes etc.

At the moment I have Michelin AC10 cross, and they are a tad too extreme on road, any suggestions as a happy medium.

What about off-road biased tyres but road legal?

I'm about to replace a rear.

I was suprised to find out that the AC10's are road legal, but as said I find them a bit to knobbly, I've looked into the MT21's and they seem ideal and they are road legal too.
So looks like I'll order some of these.

Pirelli MT21

Road legal!

Fitted mine today c/w rim locks.
While I was at it the tubes were replaced too.

another vote for MT21s

I used them for a while on mine...now back to road only use so fitted the trail wings back on it
