I've always fancied visiting Ukraine and it looks as though a fair bit of the WWII detritus remains to be seen.

Some of you will have seen a link in the past to a website by Elena Filatrova who rides a Kawasaki and has photographed Chernobyl, she also does a lot of digging around Kiev.

This is her website:

http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/kiddofspeed/foodtrip.html

and here's the Battle(s) for Kiev stuff:

http://www.serpentswall.com/index.html

Make a cuppa and have a read through.

Fascinating stuff though a little worrying that all that old ordnance is so easily found

So Elena rides bikes and likes military history??? :kissy2

I could be wrong, but I thought she was found to be a fraud?

Wasn't that the story about having to ride at warp factor 9 near Chernobyl to avoid getting too serious a doeage of rads?
