Can anyone advise on the usefulness of joining something like CAA or AAA for roadside assistance

We are doing a trip around Quebec - maybe the maritmes and down into the USA from Montreal

If we join CAA does that only give us cover in Canada or does it extend into the USA?

Also is there a B&B network guide in the US like bbcanada.com??

When John and I took our bikes over for a 6 week trip in 2006, we took out AMA's Motow assistance. It covers all 50 states as well as Puerto Rico and Canada. Cover came recommended by our American friends. Luckily we never had to put it to the test. We'll be doing the same for this summer's trip.

You'll probably need to "borrow" a US postal address, if you have friends over there.
